وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا [Q 20:114] “Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that once Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (radi Allahu anhum) went up Uhud (the mountain near Madina) and when it quivered because of them Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) kicked it with his foot and said, ‘Keep steady, O Uhud, for there are a Prophet, a Siddique, and two Shuhada on you.’” [Sahih Bukhari] On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Allah the Almighty said: The Prophet said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' "I am a traveler seeking the Truth, a human searching for the meaning of humanity, and a citizen seeking dignity, freedom, stability and welfare under the shade of Islam. I am a free man who is aware of the purpose of his existence and calls, truly, my prayer and my sacrifice, my life and my death, are all for Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds; He has no partner. This I am commanded and I am among those who submit to His Will. This is who I am. Who are you?'' - Hassan Al Banna - O Lord, what kind of Fountain is Thy Love, of Which I Sipped But One Drop and Wept Rivers.” ~ Saadi of Shiraz
