I like vintage. Balmain. Givenchy. Chanel. I love jeans. I wear a lot of jeans. I have that French-girl thing of always wanting to wear a cashmere sweater with a pair of jeans. Mine are J Brand, Acne—and I like Topshop. I don’t want them to be “designed.” Jeans should be jeans. I rarely wear skirts. My daughter is just the same. I’ll try to convince her to wear a skirt, or a dress, and she’ll look at me say, ‘Why? You don’t.’” VOGUE PARIS ! ♥ The moment you stop being fashion conscious is when you enjoy exploring fashion from a different perspective and putting together new things you wouldn't of thought of doing so before. You don't need expensive attire from high street stores to look fashionable, you can choose not to conform to it and pick up cool quirky pieces for half the price and rock them twice as well! I'd say be adventurous don't feel you have to buy 'current fashion', wear what you like and if you're comfortable in it, you'll wear it well.
