From January the 5th to January the 8th Luisa Via Roma is hosting its bi-annual 'Firenze 4 Ever' blogger event. It promises to be 4 unique days, and Fashiolista will bring you all the latest updates and pictures from a mix of your favorite bloggers!

 

Daily Backstage Updates

DAY 3: We had a good night sleep and started the day with a delicious espresso and dulce to calm down our nerves, because... today we are shooting our Style Lab pictures! So, you're probably wondering how we looked?! Well, just have a look at the pictures! What do you think... We're in love with the Pierre Hardy wedges and the accessories... NEED NEED NEED. Now we are getting ready for the 'Pink Carpet'-party. Will we meet you there?

 

DAY 2: We just got home after the first Style Lab day at Firenze4Ever. All big bloggers got their hair and make-up done by the amazing team of Aveda and Mac, and chose their outfits for their Style Lab shoots. After the photoshoot, we had THE prettiest dinner party one has ever seen. In a little alley, just of one of the main streets of Firenze, lies a secret church, hidden from tourists and even unknown by true Florentines. While we face the big, wooden doors, they suddenly swing open and everyone holds their breath: thousands of candles are lit, and very humble we walk inside. No one is able to speak, we hold our breaths, until we finally grasp some air. The table in front of us is at least 50 meters long, and 20 meters wide, and on top of the crisp white table cloths, there's laurel and ivy, and no other light than thick white candles, welcoming us with their warm lights. We enjoy a lovely dinner with old friends and new ones. There's a opera singer and a lifesized harp, played with the most wonderful tunes. Thank you for this wonderful evening LuisaViaRoma, it was truly amazing.

 

DAY 1: Today we arrived in Firenze, the city of fashion, of the Duomo and of Luisa Via Roma's blogger event Firenze4Ever!

  We're staying at one of Firenze's prettiest hotels, The Savoy, in the middle of the city, located at Piazza della Repubblica. After dropping off our suitcases, we strolled around the streets of the city and then changed for a welcome drink in the store. With the theme of this 4th edition of Firenze4Ever being 'Pink Carpet', the entire store was transformed in a bubble gum pink party palace. French Queen Marie Antoinette inspired head pieces and dramatic dresses ruled the store, and we browsed the intense colorful collections, before having a drink with the other bloggers.

  Some inspiring words from Mr. Panconesi followed; and he told us everything about the amazing Pug Dog project, that brings together the world of Fashion and Unicef. All bloggers will be photographed with a dog of their choice, dressed by designers such as Giambattista Valli, Giuseppe Zanotti, Balmain, Emilio Pucci and many more. The dogs will be auctioned afterwards, and this will go directly to Unicef. We highly believe in this creative and original way of raising awareness for disadvantaged children and would like to congratulate Luisa Via Roma with this great initiative!

  The evening ended with a late night dinner with Carolina Engman (FashionSquad), Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad), Andy Torres (StyleScrapbook) and BryanBoy, and then we went straight off to bed. Tomorrow is another busy day! Night night guys!
